Design Philosophy

when in doubt, i fall back on these pillars

01

Systems Approach

I enjoy looking at the root cause of an issue, not merely treating a symptom of it. My interest in design systems is because they represent a living, evolving infrastructure that demands constant refinement and long-term strategic thinking.

02

Re-assess intermittently

When you are involved in your work, it can be easy to get attached and not involve your own biases in your design. I like to take a step back every so often to reevaluate whether what I am doing is the best approach.

03

Less is More

Sometimes, the best solution isn't as complicated as it seems. I find a lot of value in learning from what exists and finding my own way to adapt the knowledge to create experiences that are joyful and intuitive.
